Kantanka Fa me k) with K71

In a world where mobile taxi services are the “go-to” when it comes to commercial transport, trouble does not only extend to our local taxi services who complain of the slowness in their  business due to this emergence but to digital illiterates as well.
Many may argue mobile taxi services such as Uber, Bolt, Yango among others, 

have come a long way in making life easier, ensuring the safety of it’s customers and granting comfort which is true, yet they do little to help digital illiterates who lack the technical “know-how” in using the apps.
These mobile taxi services require a smartphone, need to be downloaded off Google play store or Apple store and also need mobile data which goes as a disadvantage to many adults and old individuals in Ghana.
Thus it’s no wonder these taxi services are mostly patronized by the youth as compared to the aged in the country.
According to some taxi drivers at Trade Fair in Accra, they do not take part in the online service because they lack the knowledge to operate the apps.
These setbacks are what pushed the idea behind “Kantanka fa me k)”, an initiative by Kantanka Automobiles Company Limited.
Kantanka fa me k) is a new mobile taxi service with the aim of helping individuals meet their transport needs.
The taxi app which started about a year ago, operates through phone calls .Unlike other taxi services which require data to operate, “fa me k)” is only a phone call away.
Customers only need to call to order their pickup and discuss charges wherever they are in the country to be served.
Many of these mobile taxi services use cars like picanto,Kia morning just to mention a few. These cars have become so common in the industry to the extent that any Picanto or Kia Morning car is assumed to be a mobile taxi car. The “fa me k)” service on the other hand uses one of the Kantanka cars known as K71, to conduct their services, making them very distinct from the others.
The Kantanka k71 is a luxurious high-performance vehicle with an ultra-modern standard Technical features that guarantees the safety, comfort, luxury and the general satisfaction of customers. It comes with a driver front airbag, ABS/EBD system, the energy absorbing steering column and many others. It is very affordable and has a fuel mileage over its competitive brand of cars on the market.

According to Kantanka Automobiles, the company is working on going online too, but will continue to maintain the phone call approach to favour all respective customers.
